ACCREDITATION & ASSOCIATIONS
Throughout its history, the Council and its predecessor agency have been recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a reliable authority on the quality of education offered by the institutions it has accredited. Its current scope of recognition is as a national institutional accrediting agency for the accreditation of non-degree-granting and applied associate degree-granting postsecondary occupational education institutions.
Other notable distinctions and associations:
- Florida Academy is approved to train clients for Division of Vocational Rehabilitation benefits.
- Florida Academy is approved to train veterans and their families, who can qualify for VA Education benefits.
- Florida Academy holds a license from the Florida Department of Health, Division of Medical Quality Assurance, Board of Massage Therapy.
- Florida Academy holds a license from the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation, Division of Professions and Cosmetology.
