Meet Angela Artiles! – Cosmetology Graduate at Florida Academy.

After going to college for two years, she realized she wasn’t pursuing her true passion and what she truly loved to do. Since then, she attended Florida Academy and graduated from the Cosmetology program in 2019.

Through FA’s cosmetology program, students receive hands-on training that allows them to master basic, contemporary and advanced cosmetology techniques. The program is designed to prepare students for the workforce, by teaching them the skills and techniques needed to excel in their field.

Since the class sizes are small and Florida Academy offers both day and evening classes, students receive the maximum possible attention from their instructors.

My name is Angela Artiles and I’m in a cosmetology program.

I graduated in September of 2019.

Before Florida Academy, I was always a very creative person.

I started freelance hair and makeup myself before cosmetology school.

I thought I had to go to college,so I went for two and a half years.

I found myself just not in my passion and what I love to do,

so I then transferred to Florida Academy. I’ve since graduated and I could not be happier that I had made that decision.

We have really great instructors who are knowledgeable and continue to share their information with us.

I have got in a full-time position at Studio RK and I want to continue my education there.

I always am just trying to continue learning and being better.
