If you are a dependent student, then you will also need most of the above information for your parent(s).
In order to determine eligibility, you’ll need to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Even if you are unsure if you’ll qualify for any type of aid, it’s a good idea to fill out an application. You can access the online application at usa.gov/fafsa.
After your FAFSA is processed, you’ll receive your Student Aid Report (SAR), which will summarize your eligibility for federal student aid. Bring this with you to your financial aid appointment, and our team will review it with you and discuss your options for various types of student aid that may be available to you based on your qualifications.
