Kristen Edman is a Florida Academy alumni. She graduated from the Cosmetology program in 2018. At Florida Academy, you will be able to complete the program in 10 months through day or evening classes!

Kristen Edman: My name is Kristen Edman. I graduated from the cosmetology program here at Florida Academy in 2018. I started makeup before I started the school here, so I was in the business before but I wanted to become more professional and get my official license. That’s why I chose Florida Academy. I currently have my own business. My business is Kristen Joy Artistry. I do freelance hair and makeup for commercials, weddings, photoshoots. I’ll come to you and I’ll have to make you beautiful.
Some advice that I’ll give a new graduate is, don’t get discouraged. When you start off, you’re not going to have the clientele that somebody down the road 10 years has but if you work hard and stay with it, then it will come. Born to succeed at Florida Academy.

Upon successful completion of Florida Academy’s accredited cosmetology program, you may take the cosmetology exam through the Board of Cosmetology. Once you pass this exam, you will receive your license to practice cosmetology in the state of Florida.
