Meet Kevin Stewart, an HVAC/R technology grad of Florida Academy. Learn more about his journey from being a diesel mechanic in the military to become an HVAC technician. Here is the full transcript of the video to know more about him.
Kevin: My job in the military was a diesel mechanic. I’ve also worked on radios. I did some AC work, but it wasn’t like been in school because I was going by what other people say. Then I didn’t actually know, but now that I know, it’s a lot better. It takes a little bit of more patience to work in HVAC than working on automotive.
What I supply to civilian life of being in the military, is patience and understanding, and basically, just taking your time and not rushing, and doing it right the first time. To me, that’s the most important thing. Learn, do, succeed at Florida Academy.
