In Florida Academy’s 1,200-hour cosmetology program, you will learn the skills and techniques required to pass the state board exam and practice as a cosmetologist. Our program includes the following subject matters:

Upon successful completion of Florida Academy’s accredited cosmetology program, you may take the cosmetology exam through the Board of Cosmetology. Once you pass this exam, you will receive your license to practice cosmetology in the state of Florida. Since Florida Academy graduates qualify for job placement assistance, finding the perfect position is that much easier!
